The brackets are then constructed on a high-precision prototyping machine from a wax-like material.
These wax blanks are embedded and cast in gold. The gold brackets are given a special surface treatment.
The dimensional accuracy of each bracket slot is checked individually.
The finished brackets are then fixed onto the malocclusion model with a water-soluble bonding agent.
A two-phase bonding tray is fabricated, and the bonding surface of the bracket is pre-treated.
The highly complex geometries resulting from this individualization are bent and programmed into
the archwire by state-of-the-art bending robots.
