Microimplants help you reach your goal quickly and reliably!
Just as dentists have long discovered the benefits of implants to make reliable replacements for a missing tooth
or to anchor dentures, orthodontists use the extremely small implants to provide a stable anchor for straightening the teeth.
In orthodontics we use precisely exerted forces and torques ein, to quickly and exactly move the teeth.
This is only possible when we have a stable, reliable anchor point.
Microimplants are very small screws implanted in the jaw that we can use to help us straighten the teeth.
The animation below illustrates how this works:

Successful Therapy without Headgear!
In the past, methods such as headgear had to be used to solve certain orthodontic problems.
Wearing headgear required a lot of discipline on the patient's part, and the appearance of this unattractive
apparatus was also a big disadvantage.
Today we can offer the same successful treatment using invisible microimplants instead of headgear.

Microimplant - just a minor operation
By anchoring with microimplants, we can achieve very precise movements of the teeth.
This method opens up entirely new treatment options.
Whereas in the past it was only possible to close the gap of a tooth lost on one side by pulling
a healthy tooth on the other side, today we can use microimplants to completely avoid having to
sacrifice a healthy tooth.
To implant the screws, only a minor surgical operation is required using local anesthetics.
A further invaluable advantage of microimplants is that loads can be applied to them immediately
following implantation.

All forces can be exerted precisely where needed right from the beginning.
Treatment can get started right away, which results in enormously shortened treatment times
in the majority of cases.
As already mentioned, microimplants serve as anchor points for compression or tension springs
that help to guide your teeth gently, yet steadily, into the correct positions.
We can implant microimplants anywhere in the gum regions of the mouth with underlying bone.
The implant can be very easily removed later once the teeth have reached their desired positions.
